Isn’t it every person’s dream to turn their hobbies and passions into something real, tangible, and visible to others? And perhaps, just perhaps, even into a career in the future. That’s exactly what I tried to do with my love for this most important side thing in the world (of course, we’re talking about Hattrick) and my passion for comics and drawing by creating this website so that everyone can enjoy the new works at their fingertips or on their mobile devices.
Here on the Balkans, specifically in Croatia, I have been greatly influenced by the comics from the Bonelli school since I was a child. You may have heard of heroes like Zagor, Tex Willer, Dylan Dog, Martin Mystere, Nathan Never, Mister No, and others. These are Italian comic heroes that have been extremely popular on the Balkans (and in Italy) since the 1960s to this day. Here are some issues and heroes that have had an impact on me:

Since 1994, when my late father bought me my first comic book, I have felt that special connection with this eighth art form. Since then, I have diligently been reading comics, buying everything new that comes out, and steadily expanding my collection ever since. I’m not sure how many comics it includes, but I’m truly proud of it.

And of course, another comic that deserves to be highlighted for its tremendous influence on the comic scene in the former Yugoslav region is undoubtedly Alan Ford. This comic hilariously illustrates and entertains the audience from these parts. Despite its setting being in America and the comic being of Italian origin, many Yugoslavs found something to laugh about and relate to in this comic because it closely mirrored the reality and the state of the country at that time. Even today, many still find it relatable.
Alan Ford is an Italian comedic comic created by writer Luciano Secchi, pseudonym Max Bunker, and illustrator Roberto Raviola, pseudonym Magnus.
The storyline takes place in New York, and the characters in the comic include: Number One, Alan Ford, Bob Rock, Sir Oliver, Grunf, Jeremiah, and many other characters.

And how it has always been my dream to create my own comic (like most comic enthusiasts), Alan Ford was the inspiration for me to make a parody about football, specifically about the online football manager game called Hattrick, which I have been playing since 2005. The combination of entertaining storyline illustrating real events within the game, such as a sudden loss of a match by the favorite team, to the creation of Hattrick and the main protagonist, Fat Swede.
I made the first prototype of the comic in print form and shared it with around 80 devoted fans of this game. To reach an even larger number of enthusiasts for this game, I decided to create this website.

I’m not a professional web designer; I’m just an enthusiastic user of WordPress with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, so please forgive any imperfections in some parts. Don’t worry; I will probably fix them over time. Similarly, I’m not a professional artist or writer; we are doing this out of love for comics, drawing, Photoshop, and, of course, Hattrick.
All the drawings are done by hand, then scanned and colored in Photoshop. The website was created using WordPress. If you have any suggestions or ideas to improve your experience on the website or have ideas for comics, feel free to contact us through the contact form or via the Facebook page, email, or the Hattrick Federation page.
If you’re not familiar with Hattrick, here’s a brief overview of it:
Hattrick is the leading online football manager game – it is free to play, and it engages a community of hundreds of thousands of users from all corners of the world.
In Hattrick, you build and coach a club over time – and compete head on with other human managers. Unlike many other football games, you don’t need to spend hours every day to win – setting the right strategy is the key.
The size and strength of the Hattrick community is legendary, don’t forget to check out our very busy forums or the wealth of user-led initiatives that go on around the game, from local meet ups to cool third-party software.
Hattrick got started way back in 1997 and is owned by Hattrick Ltd. As developers, we are proud of our history of close collaboration with our users, something we think has helped us grow into the largest and most engaging football manager game on the web.
Hattrick is a free football game. You never pay to play, and you can’t pay for advantages, but you can choose to upgrade your membership to Supporter status, which gives you extra stuff to enjoy the game with.
This is a combination of a Wild West-style storyline like Tex and Zagor, with artwork reminiscent of Alan Ford. This drawing was created around 2012, approximately.
